Respect and Today’s Generation
It is expected that society will evolve over time. What is not desired is a devolvement of basic respect. Some say that today’s generation has developed an attitude of entitlement, an expectation that society should provide some unearned benefit simply by being here. There’s nothing wrong with an old-fashioned work ethic which rewards good work much more than simply OK or substandard work. Advancement should be based on merit. Only then do individuals perform at their best.
