Public Safety
The investment a society makes in public safety pays back great dividends. Fire Departments, when well-equipped and well-staffed, are there to help in any of a number of emergencies. Police Departments, when appropriately funded, are able to fight crime effectively and keep communities safer. Going beyond the basics by funding disaster preparedness can save many lives and make dealing with that unexpected issue much easier.
