Foreign Policy

Foreign Policy is an important component of a nation’s National Security. The goal is to advance the interests of the United States without stomping on the rights of other countries. Also central to foreign policy is the establishment of a deterrent to aggression from other countries, the so-called “peace through strength” philosophy. By being ready to go to war and having the means to do so, a nation often can avoid conflict.
